Was a little worried that I didn't take a proper picture of this before heading off to school, but I found it on my camera so here you all go!

Another House Portrait

A new commission.
Haven't done a building in a long time, but I think this turned out pretty well.

We'll see what the client thinks soon enough.

Baby steps

Well, after a bit of a slump, I'm getting back into it.
This evenings labor.

Not great, but not an easy subject either...

Funny how simple things get complex once you try to paint them.

She

"She"
16x20 acrylic on canvas paper
$300
Sold

I cannot begin to capture her beauty
Not through stain nor scar on the page
My eyes are not strong enough, nor is my arm
Even with all my heart not a fraction
For she has more beauty then I can even comprehend
Only a fraction can any man see
For a woman's true beauty
is in her heart.

Brockville Victorian Inn again

Now the client wanted a colouring book page for guests' children. Not a bad idea. So here's what I came up with.

How many times am I going to have to draw this thing?

Shakespeare.

Sorry for the absence. Been working heavily on the St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival in Prescott Ontario.

Did pretty much all the painting on the backdrops, and assisted in set construction and painting, prop construction and painting, transportation of sets and props, and mounting the sets.

Mostly volunteer, but was paid for the painting of the sets for Macbeth (all done in a single long night.)

I hope to be posting work soon, and maybe some pictures of the sets.

Here is a link to their website. I saw the comedy (Trouble on Dibble St.) last night and it was excellent.

A good day.

Ran some errands, got some new clothes, and painted this little treasure my mom found at the local Goodwill.

A ceramic mushroom.

Rubik's Cube Sketch

The first of many.

I'm like a kid who just won't let it go,
Twisting and turning the colours in rows,
I'm so intent to find out what it is,

This is my Rubik's Cube
And all I can't figure it out.
