Baby steps

Well, after a bit of a slump, I'm getting back into it.

This evenings labor.

Not great, but not an easy subject either...

Funny how simple things get complex once you try to paint them.

8x10 Watercolour.

Long day tomorrow.

Mushroom

A good day.

Ran some errands, got some new clothes, and painted this little treasure my mom found at the local Goodwill.

A ceramic mushroom.

Bread finished

Noticed some things I should fix..

But a better photo non-the-less.

This evening's labour

Not pleased with the result.

Definitly need to do another.

A less productive day.

Wasted most of it, but rallied fairly well in the evening.

Another larger then usual one, 24"x24"

Almost there on this one. Maybe one more pass.

Painting a day

Been slacking off too much.

Here's a "grey-scale" study of a tea pot.

Been experimenting with Golden "open" acrylics. Not really suited for this, but nice to work with non the less. (Used alizarin crimson mixed with regular acrylic titanium white)

Finished

Not bad. I'd like to go a little faster on the next one.
